The solvent based paint is determined for road marking of asphalt and concrete surfaces or kerbs. The product is listed in official catalogue of approved products issued by Ministry of Transport Czech Republic.

Mineral surface has to be matured, compact, clean and dry, free of dust and grease.

THINNER: BALTECH TOLUENE P6406

WORKFLOW

It is applied in a single layer by airless or airmix pressure spraying machine, or by other suitable technique using masking template. The paint is ready to use. If necessary (depending on the application, device type) it is possible to thin with BALTECH P6406 Toluene. Stir properly the paint before use and stir it regularly in machine tanks during the application.  It dries by physical evaporation of the solvent, the drying time is about 7 minutes (dust free, WFT 500 μm) at an air temperature min. + 5 °C and relative humidity max. 75%. Optimal wet film thickness is 500 mm (about 670 g / m2), dry film thickness is than 220 mm. It is necessary to sprinkle glass beads immediately of about 300 g / m2 type SWARCO T14 G20 100-600) to provide the paint film with reflectivity and roughness. The pass-over-time is about 45 minutes after application to the dry road at (20 ± 1) °C and a relative humidity of 75 %. Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow drying time. When handling, water must not get into the product, it devalues ​​the product.
