The product is intended to protect all types of wood, including tropical woods, exposed to weathering and interior areas. Extremely good protection of wood against UV radiation and moisture. Reduces the risk of swelling, shrinkage and staining, breathable finish allowing the wood to breath. Contains natural oils and dearomatized white spirit. It has excellent penetrating capabilities and enhances natural beauty of wood, provides highly effective satin finishes. The product is characteristic by very easy renewability of an old paint. It meets the requirements on anti-slip resistance.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Before the application, the timber surface shall be clean, dry, well smoothened, with max. 12% humidity and free of resin residues. The timber surface with high content of resins (larch, pine) shall be cleaned of all resin residues, e.g. by washing by BALTECH C6000 nitro-solvent. Quality of wood preparation determines overall look of the wood final finish and affects total lifetime of the coating system.
If additional protection against rot, blue stain and insect is required, the timber surface must first be impregnated with LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033. Subsequently it is necessary to lightly abrade a surface by fine sandpaper in the direction of the grain, dust off and apply decking oil.
Remove all poorly adhering old coats to the solid surface when renovate. If possible, it is recommended to apply the first coat to all sides before installation.
Thinner: BALTECH S6006 for cleaning tools
Spreading capacity: 20 m2/l per single layer according to a timber absorbency. Grooved, ribbed as well as rough (sawn) wood surfaces requires a larger amount of paint due to the surface character.
WORKFLOW
Properly mix before use. It shouldn´t be thinned, it is ready to use. Ensure product is thoroughly stirred during the application, otherwise sheen and colour variations may be expected. Apply 2 or 3 thin layers of decking oil so that no surplus oil remains stay on the surface. The surface can be sanded between fine coats with fine sandpaper. Recoat after 24 hours.
