LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033

Solvent-based LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033 is designed for preventive chemical surface protection of timber surfaces against attacks of mould, wood-staining and wood-decaying fungi and wood-destroying insect. Timber surface impregnated with LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033 can be incorporated in interiors (classes of threat 1 and 2 according to EN 335-1, 2, 3) and exteriors (class of threat 3 according to EN 335-1, 2, 3). This synthetic impregnation is intended for using under oil, synthetic or water-based painting systems.

Content of active ingredients: tebuconazole (ISO) (ES 403-640-2) 2.4 g/kg of the product, IPBC (ES 259-627-5) 5 g/kg of the product, permethrin (ISO) (ES 258-067-9) 0.67 g/kg of the product. Type marking according to ČSN 490600-1: FB, B, P, IP, 1, 2, 3, S

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before the application, the timber surface shall be clean, dry, well smoothened, with max. 12% humidity and free of resin residues. The timber surface with high content of resins (larch, pine) shall be cleaned of all resin residues, e.g. by washing by BALTECH C6000 nitro-solvent. Quality of wood preparation determines overall look of the wood final finish and affects total lifetime of the coating system.

WORKFLOW

LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033 shall be applied after thorough mixing on dry un-dewy wood free from resin residues. It does not require thinning; it is ready to use.

Recommended usage: a) to protect wood in classes of use 1 and 2 independently as an impregnating agent 2x coats by brush or immersing with minimum consumption of 150 ml/m²,

b) to protect wood in classes of use 1 and 2 under glazing and finishing coating systems 1x coat by brush or immersing with minimum consumption of 100 ml/m²,

c) to protect wood in class of use 3 under glazing and finishing coating systems 2x coats by brush or immersing with minimum consumption of 150 ml/m².

Biocidal effect begins after the coat gets dry – then, further processing of the treated wood is possible. LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033 is designed solely for biocidal protection of wood. To ensure other decorative features and to protect wood from weather conditions, other suitable coats shall be provided. Recommended interval for recoating of the impregnating primer is at least 24 hours and 14 days at the most.
