LAZUROL OKNOBAL ZÁKLAD S2060

The primer is determined for primary and first coats of a wood. It is endowed with very good hiding power, good levelling and fast drying. The coat has a very good sandability.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before the application, the timber surface shall be clean, dry, well smoothened, with max. 12% humidity and free of resin residues. The timber surface with high content of resins (larch, pine) shall be cleaned of all resin residues, e.g. by washing by BALTECH C6000 nitro-solvent. Quality of wood preparation determines overall look of the wood final finish and affects total lifetime of the coating system.

First it is recommended to treat the timber surface with a suitable impregnation, which ensures uniform absorbency and higher protection of the timber surface of wood (in case of using fungicidal impregnation also protection against attack of mould, fungi and insects. Subsequently it is necessary to lightly abrade a surface by fine sandpaper in the direction of the grain, dust off and apply primer. Formerly coated surfaces must be cleaned, degreased and without old non-adhesive paints.

Thinner: BALTECH S6006 for brush or roller, BALTECH S6001 for spraying

Spreading capacity: 15 - 17 m²/l per one layer

WORKFLOW

Properly mix before use. It shouldn´t be thinned, it is ready to use. Apply by brush, roller or spraying on prepared surface.
External wood coating
1. 1 coat of impregnation LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033; 24 hours drying, grinding;
2. 1 or 2 coats of primer LAZUROL OKNOBAL ZÁKLAD S2060. Recommended interval between  
     coating 6 or more hours; grinding. Optimum thickness of one layer is 30 - 35 μm. 
3. 2 or 3 coats of enamel LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 or INDUSTROL PLUS S2071,  
     INDUSTROL PROFI U2129
Interior wood coating
1. 1 coat of impregnation LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 (colourless) or UNIBAL LINSEED OIL  O1000; 24 hours drying, grinding;
2. 1 or 2 coats of primer LAZUROL OKNOBAL ZÁKLAD S2060. Recommended interval between  
     coating 6 or more hours; grinding. Optimum thickness of one layer is 30 - 35 μm. 
3. 1 or 2 coats of enamel LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 or INDUSTROL PLUS S2071,  
    INDUSTROL PROFI U2129.
