Oil is intended to protect softwood and hardwood in both interior and exterior, e.g. wooden furniture. It revives surface of wood, provides it silk gloss and increases its resistance against water and impurities.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before the application, the timber surface shall be clean, dry, well smoothened, with max. 12% humidity and free of resin residues. The timber surface with high content of resins (larch, pine) shall be cleaned of all resin residues, e.g. by washing by BALTECH C6000 nitro-solvent. Quality of wood preparation determines overall look of the wood final finish and affects total lifetime of the coating system.

Thinner: BALTECH S6006 for cleaning tools

Spreading capacity: 6 - 10 m²/l per single layer according to a timber absorbency

WORKFLOW

Properly mix before use. It shouldn´t be thinned, it is ready to use. Apply by brush on a prepared surface. Unabsorbed oil shall be wiped away by a dry brush or cloth 15 minutes after application. Possible second coat shall be applied in the same way after the first coat dries.
