DENAS UNIVERSÁL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete

DENAS UNIVERSÁL MAT is a top water-based paint for coating building elements and constructions made of wood, metal, structures, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, some types of plastics, umakart, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, plasterboard.

It meets the standard for surface treatment of products and toys for children from 0-3 years of age (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, they do not become chalky or brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and the weather, they are resistant to the effects of cleaning products used in the home. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long service life both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under the age of 3 (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and at the same time meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set out in Decree no. MZČR No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. took measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates for toning outside the manufacturer's premises.

Workflow:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, incoherent layers of older coatings and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of DENAS NA KOV-ZAKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1 anti-corrosion primer, then apply DENAS UNIVERSÁL MAT topcoat in 1-2 coats. First, unify the wooden substrates with DENAS UNIVERSÁL MAT paint diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 with water or with DENAS WOOD-BASE base paint in 1-2 layers, taking into account the absorbency of the wood. Then top coat with unthinned paint in 1-2 coats. We recommend protecting the wood in depth with a suitable impregnation agent with biocidal effects. Protect the mineral substrates by coating with a penetrating agent in 1-2 layers or with paint diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5, followed by DENAS UNIVERSÁL MAT cover paint in 1-2 layers.

The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C, at least 3˚C above the dew point. and air humidity up to 70%. The interval between individual coatings must always be 2-6 hours.

7 to 10 m²/kg per coat.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
With normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical attention is necessary. Recommendation: Follow the principles of personal hygiene when working. Ensure workplace ventilation. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, flush with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original, unopened packaging min. by the date indicated on the cap/lid.
