Description

DENAS RADIÁTOR is a water-based paint for topcoats of hot-water heating elements and copper pipes. The coatings are shiny, non-yellowing, excellently maintained and resistant to temperatures up to +120 °C. Radiator paint can be applied to tempering heating up to +40 °C with excellent coverage, spillage, quick drying and excellent adhesion even on old synthetic coatings, therefore it is suitable for new and renewal coatings. In the interior, it is possible to use DENAS RADIÁTOR as a universal paint on various substrates.

General composition of radiator paint:

A mixture of acrylic dispersion, pigments, fillers and special additives.

Covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or masking film, or sandpaper may be useful. Don't forget brushes and rollers.

Radiator paint workflow:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, incoherent layers of older coatings and grease. New metal heating elements or cracked areas of old elements must first be treated with a basic anti-corrosion coating, we recommend DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1. The DENAS RADIÁTOR top coat is applied with a brush or roller in 1-2 layers without thinning. When air spraying, the paint can be diluted with 5% water, always with min. with an interval of 2 hours between individual coatings. The temperature of the air and the substrate during the application and drying of the coating must not fall below +10 °C and the air humidity must not fall below 70%.

Paint yield for radiators:

7-10 m²/kg per coat.

Plastic or tin packaging weighing 0.7 kg, 2.5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg.

Shades of paint for radiators:

It is produced in shades 0100 white, 0603 ivory and others according to the RAL, NCS, ČSN swatches or in shades as agreed.

Safety and hygiene of radiator paint:
Follow the principles of personal hygiene. Ensure workplace ventilation. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water, do not induce vomiting. In case of health problems, seek medical treatment.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original, unopened packaging min. by the date indicated on the cap/lid.

1.2-1.3 g/cm3; VOC: 0.04 kg/kg; TOC: 0.02 kg/kg; ONL: 30–35% vol.; VŘNH category: A/d – Interior/exterior paint materials for wood, metal or plastics for equipment and cladding of buildings.; Maximum permissible value of VOC content (g/l): 130; Max. VOC content in the product in a ready-to-use state (g/l): 52.
