TODAY METAL-BASED basic anti-corrosion protection for iron, aluminum, copper, zinc. DENAS basic anti-corrosion paint for metal (formerly DENAS ANTIKOR) is a water-based paint for new and renovation coatings with increased corrosion protection. The paint is suitable for painting steel, iron, aluminum and freshly galvanized structures and sheets, sheet metal roofs, their plumbing elements, railings, fences, pillars and other metal products located in the exterior and interior. It is also suitable for fresh copper. It shows very fast drying, excellent adhesion on metal substrates, coverage and workability.

The paint has excellent anti-corrosion properties, cohesion with metal substrates, chemical resistance and a long service life. The paint can also be used on a partially corroded surface. We recommend using DENAS UNIVERSÁL as a top coat.

General composition mixture of acrylate dispersion, pigments, fillers and special additives.

DENAS KOV-ZAKLAD workflow:
The substrate must be dry and free of all mechanical dirt and grease, residues of non-cohesive and old coatings. The paint is applied with a brush, roller or spray in 1-2 layers with a distance of min. 4 hours between individual coatings. For topcoats, we recommend using DENAS UNIVERSÁL water-based paint, available in both matte and gloss for guidance and a wide range of shades. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Instructions for safe handling:

Avoid release to the environment. Do not inhale aerosols. Use only outdoors or in　well-ventilated areas. Dispose of the contents/packaging in accordance with local regulations by handing it over to a person authorized to dispose of waste or to a place designated by the municipality.

Safety and hygiene:

Follow the principles of personal hygiene. In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water, do not induce vomiting. In case of health problems, seek medical treatment.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original, unopened packaging min. by the date indicated on the lid.
