BARLET SILICATE - for exterior and interior coatings of mineral substrates (carbonised lime cement plaster, concrete, porous concrete, asbestos concrete). Concerning very low vapour penetration sd is a suitable paint for redevelopment plasters in interiors.
Painting procedure example:
1. Penetration coat of the base is done with Barlet penetration silicate paint - brush
2. After 24 hours of drying we do first coat with Barlet silicate – brush. After 24 hours of drying of the first coat we do second coating with Barlet silicate – brush or roller.
3. Final hydrofobisation paint is done by FOB silicate – brush after 24 hours of the coating
Theoretical spreading rate:
Barlet silicate penetration paint: 5-10 m2/1 kg (5-10 m2/1 l) for one coat, spreading capacity is dependent on the suction capacity of the base.
Barlet silicate: 2-3 m2/1 kg (3-4 m2/1 l) for one coat
FOB silicate: 5-10 m2/1 kg (5-10 m2/1 l
